I created this book because I am a writer I'm also an editor and writing career coach. In this second role, I have the opportunity to look at lots of writing. I started to realize one day that I was offering the same suggestions over and over to nearly every writer I worked with. I saw a set of very similar issues that reached writers of all levels. That made me think for a moment how much it would help all writers to see some of these common issues and errors. 

And thus this book was born.
